The Department of Environment and Fisheries is a department under the Ministry of Natural Resources & Labour of the Government of the British Virgin Islands, which seeks to manage the natural resources of the BVI in a sustainable manner. The department was formed specifically to address the growing environmental issues that the British Virgin Islands are experiencing. The Department of Environment & Fisheries is responsible for all aspects of Natural Resources Management and is divided into five functional divisions each focusing on a particular aspect.
