The BVI is a small-island developing state (aka a SIDS) on the edge of the Caribbean Sea, and boasts an exciting variety of habitats, plants and animals (biodiversity). Its unique geography and physical features are what help make such a fantastic biodiversity possible. It is important to understand what resources and species we have existing in this paradise-like context, so we can then understand how best to manage it for our benefit and the benefit of generations to come.
